Frequently Asked Questions

What buyers and sellers ask us most about sourcing, payment, shipping and quality.

For buyers

How do I get a price?
Search for the part number, then send an RFQ for that part or add several parts to your quote list and submit them together. No account is needed; the form asks for your email address and country. Prices are not listed on the site. Send us the part numbers and quantities you need and we will email you a quotation in US dollars, including lead time and shipping cost. Surplus prices vary by lot and quantity, so every quotation is prepared by a person.
Can I send a whole BOM?
Yes. Upload your list (Excel, with part number, brand and quantity) on the BOM sourcing page. We check it against our stock and our sourcing channels, including shortage and end-of-life (EOL) parts, and reply by email with what we can supply and a quotation.
Where do your parts come from? Are they original?
Most of our stock is factory surplus — original-manufacturer parts that electronics manufacturers bought and never used. Distribution stock supplements hard-to-find and end-of-life parts. All parts are original, not refurbished or recycled.
Is the quantity shown on the site available?
Listed quantities change over time and are for reference only. The available quantity, price and lead time are confirmed in our written quotation.
How do I pay?
Payment is 100% by bank wire transfer (T/T) before shipment. Goods ship once payment is received.
How are orders shipped?
By default we ship by DHL, FedEx or UPS and list the freight separately on the quotation. You can also give us your own courier account and ship freight collect.
What if the parts are wrong, counterfeit or damaged?
If parts are wrong, counterfeit or damaged, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We refund the parts and pay the return shipping.
Can the parts be tested before shipment?
You may ask for an independent third-party lab test before shipment. The testing fee is paid by the buyer. "Testing available" does not mean "tested": we never mark a test as done when it has not been done.
Are there countries you do not sell to?
Yes. We do not accept orders from sanctioned countries and regions. Before quoting, we may ask about the end use and end user of the parts. Inquiries from the following countries and regions cannot be accepted: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus.

For sellers

Can I sell my excess electronic components through StockWake?
Have excess or obsolete electronic components? Send us your list. We review it and reply by email if there is a fit. Your company name and contact details are never shown on the site. Use the "Sell your surplus" page to upload an Excel list with part number, brand and quantity.
What information about my stock is made public?
Only information about the parts: part number, description, brand, date code (DC), quantity, category, stock type and last update date. We never show your company name, contacts, cost or target price, internal part numbers, your original list file, or labels and photos that could identify you. Buyer and seller details are kept separate and are not shared with each other before a deal.
